Why Fix Your Groin Hernia?
If you have a small hernia that is not bothering you, you probably do not need to fix your hernia. Hernias, that are enlarging or causing symptoms such as groin discomfort or pain, should be fixed. Most groin hernias can be fixed laparoscopically – meaning through three button-hole sized incisions. Recovery is fairly well tolerated. Most people can return to work in 3-5 days and return to light exercise in a week.
