He is a board-certified general surgeon, a member of the American Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, America Hernia Society, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
